Summer Portals

When the universe gives you a portal, go through it, even if the doorway is dripping in grief and your inner child is quaking in her boots.

When the universe gives you a tide that pushes you to another shore, don’t fight it. Allow yourself to be pushed and see what the view is from where you land.

When you have the chance to put down the things you’ve carried your whole life but would no longer like to, put them down.

It might hurt at first like taking off socks that are too tight. It’s painful to let your blood flow back in to where it was constricted. But if you let it flow, you’ll find your equilibrium and the relief will come.

Eventually you get to the place where you’re lookin tired but you don’t look scared. I’ll meet you there.

I love you, grievers. Keep going.
