New Service Alert! Heated Rivalry & Grief

Last year 2 boys kissed on a Canadian TV show about hockey players in love and the whole world changed for a whole lot of people. Tens of thousands of fan fiction pieces have been written, the actors became superstars after their lightning in a bottle turn as hockey players Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov, people buy what they wear and seem to track their every move.

More than that people's lives changed. Significantly. Something about the piece of art that TV show was became a reflective mirror for people in their own lives. So many people realized perhaps that they'd stopped living their lives somewhere along the way in favor of just existing, so many of us having become numb to the challenges of keeping everything afloat in the last 5-10 years.

Maybe Heated Rivalry woke people up to the places in life where they'd settled without knowing it, and at the same time made people want to return to Aliveness.

Somewhere between that realization and the Aliveness, is grief that needs to be tended to. Many people have posted that Heated Rivalry woke them up to the lives they saw and did not have- maybe with a loving and reciprocal romantic relationship, maybe with regard to their physical health, maybe there is grief over their youth now passed, and sometimes it's simply the realization that they didn't get to explore or express themselves when they were younger the way they'd wished they could.

In order to get to that Aliveness, the grief must be tended. There is no better place to do that than with someone else who loves and was changed by Heated Rivalry, loved it and was changed all the way to the stardust of their cells.
